Broadway-Advent FUN NIGHT:

STRAWBERRY SOCIAL and DANCATHON!
Friday, June 27 from 7:00-10:00 pm

 

 

Our sister congregation, Advent Lutheran, invites us to another joint-congregation "FUN NIGHT"! (Remember the blast we had at Mardi Gras?!)

Of course there will be lght snacks (including strawberry shortcake & ice cream), followed by games, dancing, and general socializing.

There will be “ice breaker activities” to help us get to know each another better, followed by fun dancing ― everything from “Head, Shoulders, Knees, Toes” and the “Hokey Pokey” for the younger set to the “Electric Slide” and “Cha-Cha Slide” for the young people to Swing for the, uh, more mature people. (Guaranteed to reduce your guilt for having eaten too much strawberry shortcake!)

Please bring your favorite dance CDs, and if you are adept at a particular kind of dance (and wouldn’t mind teaching the group a few of your virtuoso moves!), please contact the Broadway Church office (see below).

$5.00 donation suggested for adults (free for kids 11 and under), but no one should not come because of financial constraints.
Proceeds most likely will go to a hunger organization.

Also let us know if you would like to help set up, etc...
― anybody have a bit of DJ experience and/or equipment?!
